Adventures in Sock knitting

I have started the heel cuff!!!! WOOO HOOO!!!!

It's getting exciting.... This is my first pair of socks so it's all new to me. I did have to frog back to the cuff because I forgot to change my yarn (the heel and toe are different colors than the rest).

It's such a cute pattern and I am really enjoying knitting a sock.... I can really see my self making more.

One thing that I did mess up on was the cuff pattern was for a 1x1 rib and I did a 2x2, but the number of cast on was divisible by 4 so it worked out ok. I also knitted on spot where I should have purled and purled where I should have knitted, but it's a small mistake and that's what makes it hand knit...

I hope I have time to knit more socks for Christmas!

D-doll, I loved reading about this aspect of your life.

Are the socks for ME???? You know how cold it is up north here, they MUST be for me! (insert laughing face here)

I bet the socks and the ponchos for the girls turn out great! Don't forget pictures!

OK so I deleted my own comment... nice move right?

Do you want socks Kelly? What kind of yarn? What color? These are slipper socks, not ones that you wear with shoes... want this kind or ones you wear with shoes?

Thank you both you are so sweet!

I was joking but honestly I would love, love, LOVE a pair of slipper socks.

I like varigated colors. BLues, purples, pinks or neutrals too. Not really picky. And a soft (not scratchy) yarn.

D-doll you're the BEST!
